Limeirck Association is Set Up

Posted by Kevin McMahon on Feb 28, 2008

We are delighted to announce the formation of a new Limerick Snooker and Billiards Association.

The Association had been inactive for a number of years and I am delighted to say that there was a great turnout at a meeting held in The Windmill, Henry Street, on Tuesday Feb 26th night last.

This is an organization formed and run by players for players born out of a passion for the sport.

The mission of the Association is simple:

It is to promote and improve the level of interest in snooker and billiards, develop, organize and run competitions in all grades and promote the game around Limerick . The association will be fully inclusive to all clubs in Limerick and to all players irrespective of ability. We are especially interested in promoting the development at under age as this is very poor in Limerick currently.
