National Coach PJ
Nolan has started his first week of
visiting clubs and Newbridge and
Caesars Palace have been the first
two clubs to benefit from his
appointment. PJ visited Newbridge
on Monday and up and coming
youngster Daniel Dempsey was among
the players to get the benefit of
some one to one coaching. Tuesday
saw PJ travel to Galway to Caesars
Palace Snooker Club and there was a
superb response from the locals
towards the coaching.

The first RIBSA free coaching day
in Caesars Palace Snooker Club in Salthill in Galway on the 11th of February
attracted a large number of players to receive coaching PJ Nolan the Irish National Coach.
RIBSA are now offering one free coaching day to all affiliated clubs and any club wishing to book a day should contact Paula in the office.
The top Galway players like Barry Loughnane and Stephen Kiloran, Cathal Gordon, Jamie Cawley all received coaching on the day, but it was 12 year old Daniel Nolan from Galway who impressed the national coach, and I am sure he is a name for the future.
Sean Conway also traveled from
Ballina to received coaching and impressed PJ making a number of high breaks on the day
All players received a training manual and a coaching booklet on improving your game.
