Galway's Stephen Killoran captured his first National Title last weekend when he defeated Carlow's Wayne Robinson 3-1 in the final of the first Intermediate Ranking Event of the season. This was the first national event held in the new Masters Snooker Club in Shannon and Killoran ran out the victor out of a field of 56 after a long day's play which only finished up at 12.30 that night.
