Ernie had a superb
win early on in
the event beating
No.2 seed Joe
Delaney 3-0 in the
quarter finals and
a 3-1 win against
Eamonn Kelly
followed to see
him through to the
final. Jim also
had a couple of
superb wins
especially over
Phil Martin and
Eddie Ingle and
reaching the final
meant that both
him and Ernie
would now qualify
for the European
Team Championships
in Scotland next
month. |
