Brendan O'Donoghue defeated Colm Gilcreest 5-4 to take the second senior event of the season on Sunday. O'Donoghue defeated Gilcreest in the first event also but this time it was a lot later in the event and
the result has put Nenagh in with a great shout of a main tour professional next season. O'Donoghue's win leaves him just behind new No.1 ranked player David Hogan. David was overcome 4-0 in the semi's by Brendan but the
result keeps him No.1 after the Last 16 defeat of Martin McCrudden. McCrudden however did pick up the high break prize for his 137 on Saturday.
