Loughnane defeats defending champion

Barry Loughnane (Right) captured the 2007 Galway Under 19 Championship on Sunday the 21st in Caesars Palace beating fellow club mate and defending champion Stephen Killoran in a closely contested final. Both lads carved there way through the draw all day and topped there respective groups with Killoran having the high break of 60 along the way. Killoran took the first frame of the final but Loughnane responded with a couple of 30 breaks to level the match. The final frame was a tense affair with Loughnane clinching victory on the brown to take the title.
