Waterford A captured the Munster Club Championships for the first time ever on Sunday beating Nenagh 3-2 in a superb final. The Waterford club had reached the final four times in the last six years with it's A
and B teams but the wait was over as Vincent Muldoon, Jonathan Grant and Joe Corrigan got them over the line to lift the title. Nenagh had wins from Mark Walsh and the superb David Hogan but it was not their year this time
round as Waterford avenged a bad defeat in last years event. Waterford, Nenagh, New Vic D and the Crucible now represent Munster in the draw for the All Ireland's next weekend. David Hogan picked up the high break for the
event with a superb 116, his second ton of the event with Brendan Cooney also having a 112 earlier in the competition. Picture courtesy of macmonagle.com.
