Quarter Finals in Play in the 150 up Format

Indian Billiards superstar Pankaj Advani made short work of his last 16 game against his fellow countryman Bhaskar Balachandra in the best of 7 games format in the 150 up at the IBSF World Championships at the Ivy Rooms in Carlow.

Advani had his match sown up 4 – 0 in under 1 hour and 45 minuets and look completely relaxed after his win.

His next opponent in the quarter finals Peter Gilchrist from Singapore at 7pm tonight will be no stranger to the billiards world and this match has the makings of a great game.

World Champion Mike Russell from England beat his fellow countryman Billy Bousfield 4 – 1 and Geet Sethi from India was exceptional in his 4 – 0 win over India's Alock Kumar.

Its all to play for, but who can 'seal the deal' this evening in the last eight.
