O' Brien Wins Lucan Racing Classic 2011

Fergal O Brien won the Lucan Racing Snooker Tournament in Celbridge Snooker Club over the weekend beating Ken Doherty 5 frames to 2 in a superb final.

In the first round Fergal O Brien beat David Hogan 4-2, David Morris beat Joe Delaney 4-1, Joe Swail beat Rodney Goggins 4-1 and Ken Doherty beat Patrick Walace 4-2.

The highest break in the event went to Ken Doherty with 120 in his first round match.

In the first Semi final on Sunday Fergal O Brien beat David Morris 5 frames to 1 in an exciting match. Ken Doherty was in great form to beat Joe Swail in the other semi final with breaks of 107, 104, 54, 68 for a 5-1 victory.
