This week PJ Nolan our National Coach was invited by the Austrian Billiards & Snooker Association to train their national snooker team in Salzburg in Austria.

International players like Austria Senior champion Alexander Gauss, Andres Ploneer, Paul Schopf and Dominik Scheruebl will be players well known to the Irish team.

The two day training camp was coaching players from their senior and junior rankings including the four players who will represent Austria in the upcoming European under 21 Championships in Bulgaria in March.

Despite the temperature reaching -17 over the weekend the action and very hot. The performance and commitment from the players was of a very high standard who trained from 10am – 7pm.

PJ said he was very excited about training the Austrian team as there are a lot of talented players who have never reached their true potential.
I worked on fine tuning their technique and the players will now begin to train using my training book and the performances will be monitored during each camp.

Each player received a DVD of their training session and the different training books working on Long Potting, Break Building and Safety.
The Austrian Association has confirmed that PJ will travel to various cities in Austria to hold training weekend throughout 2012 and 2013.

Christian Fock the Austrian Sport Director for the Austrian Billiards & Snooker Association was delighted with the quality of the coaching from PJ and the players are very excited to work with a top class coach who has proved over the years that his coaching and training programs are used by numerous champions all around the world.
