The under 16 title went to Charlie Sweeney from Newbridge when he beat Liam Nix from Limerick in the final last weekend. We had a great response with players from all over the Country taking part. Full report to follow soon.

Dan Carroll

Dan Carroll has been involved with Stars of the future events since 1984 and is now the events director for same. He has been promoting junior snooker for over 30 years and is now the head coach for Stars Academy Ireland and the Dublin Snooker Federation.  Now a W.P.B.S.A. Coach and a qualified Sports Psychologist he is concentrating on promoting the sport through Schools & Colleges throughout Ireland. Dan believes that growing the game from grass root level is extremely important and that by bringing the sport to the Schools & Colleges, snooker will now be experienced by a greater audience than ever before.
