PJ to coach in the Cue Zone in Sheffield

PJ Nolan the RIBSA National Coach and official World Snooker Coach has been invited by WSA to coach in the cue zone at this year’s Betfred.com world snooker championship at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield from the 20th – 24th April.

PJ said it is a very big honour to be asked by world snooker to do the cue zone and I am really looking forward doing it. It will bring back good memories of the Crucible after being with Jason Devaney when he won the pot black title back in 2008.

PJ has already has a successful 2012 as he has coached in India, Belgium, Austria, Bulgaria, United Arab Emirates and next week he flies again to Dubai to coach the UAE Snooker Team before flying to Sheffield for the Cue Zone.

PJ thanked Jason Ferguson, Chris Lovell, Steve Davis and Terry Griffiths for the support he has received from since joining the World snooker coaching team. He has been very impressed in how world snooker is trying to grow the game through their coaching projects.

PJ’s coaching is becoming very popular all over the world and PJ is booked to coach in Croatia, Czech Republic, China, India, Israel, Austria, Belgium and in the academy in Gloucester in the UK between now and the end of October.

Jim Leacy said this week: "It is a great honour for PJ and our Association in being the first Irishman to be asked to coach in the Cue Zone at the world championships in Sheffield."

If any RIBSA player or club in Ireland would like to book lessons with PJ Text 086 8634507 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for his next available date.

The price is set by RIBSA at €20 per hour Coaching and €15.00 per hour travel plus all Tolls and Parking.
