PJ Coaching in Dubai

Last week our National coach PJ Nolan an official world snooker coach travelled to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to coach the national snooker team in preparation for the upcoming Asian championship which will be held in Qatar later this month.

The current Irish and EBSA head coach was booked by the United Arab Emirates Snooker & Billiards Federation to train the players in the Dubai Snooker Club.

Mohammed Shehab and Mohammed Al Joker will represent U.A.E. in the Asian championship and they will hoping to lift the title and win a place on next seasons WSA main tour.

The U.A.E. players practiced PJ’s academy training routines and received DVD’s of each session to study at home on the points and fundamentals learnt from that day.

Professional player Adam Duffy practiced for three days with the players after his world championship qualifier to give the players some quality match practice.

The leading national team players in the U.A.E. also received coaching and training during the camp and PJ thanked the UAE Federation for all their support and he was very impressed with the commitment and talent of all the U.A.E. players during this camp.

Mohammed Shehab and Mohammed Al Joker both praised PJ’s Coaching and said that PJ has now held two coaching camps in the UAE in January and April of this year and everyone can see the overall improvement in the player’s game.

The UAE Federation are also very happy with the quality of the training camps under PJ’s guidance and they said that PJ uses the latest video technology to enhance his training which is giving our players more confidence and knowledge to improve more.

PJ flies back and will be in the world snooker cue zone at the Crucible at this year’s world championship in Sheffield.
