Wayne Doyle became the 2012 Intermediate Champion at the Ivy Rooms on Sunday 6th May. He beat John Kehoe from Enniscorthy 500-343 in the final. Wayne's journey to the final saw him beat Aonghus McAnally 400-176 in the first round. He then beat Mark Nolan, Edenderry, 400-327 and last year's champion Joe Doheny 455-338. John Kehoe, on his way to the final beat Brendan Devlin 400-303, Robert McCrum 400-200 and Victor O'Gorman 500-384. Well done to Wayne, a very popular champion. Derek O'Neill won the plate event beat Pauric Slevin from Edenderry in the final.
