Would you like to become a RIBSA Coach?

The first Intro level Coaching Ireland / RIBSA coaching course of the new season will be held in the Ivy Rooms SC in Carlow on Saturday the 22nd September 2012.

This training course is designed for RIBSA members who are interested in becoming a snooker coach. The course will cover all the basics in coaching snooker players.

Seven places are available for this course and RIBSA already have completed application forms from Tony Thorpe from Newbridge and Ultan Folan from Donegal,

This one day course will be given by PJ Nolan (Role Of Coaches + Playing Techniques ) and Neil Shanahan ( Rules of the Game )

The course starts at 10am and runs until 1pm. Lunch is from 1pm-2pm and Restart at 2pm until 5pm.

The cost is €25.00 including soup and sandwich.

All the new coaches must also be paid up members of the Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association for the 2012 / 2013 season.

At present RIBSA have 60 Intro Level qualified coaches and 10 level one snooker coaches which are approved by Coaching Ireland who are based in Limerick University.
