RIBSA have a full time National Coach in PJ Nolan who also serves as a development officer when not coaching. PJ is an official W.P.B.S.A. World Snooker Coach and is one of the world's most respected coaches and works with our own members, our International teams and various International players and professionals from other countries who travel over to Ireland to be coached.

Our main aim is to make snooker coaching as accessible as possible all over the country and we have a network of local coaches who contribute to this vision. We have listed all our coaches below and they can be contacted through either their local club or the numbers provided. 
 
Coaching Ireland governs coaching through the Irish Sports Council in Ireland. RIBSA have an Intro level course syllabus approved to train coaches and in 2011 we held our first Level 1 pilot course.
 
As mentioned PJ is our main full time coach and we encourage anyone looking for coaching to contact PJ should they want to book a session with him either in his base club in the Ivy Rooms or in your own club or house anywhere around the country.
 
COST
The hourly price of Coaching in Ireland is set at €20.00 per hour coaching ( Minimum Booking 2 Hours ) + €15.00 per hour travel time from Carlow Town. The prices does not include the light charge in your club or Tolls & Parking fees.
 
( Example in Dublin for a private lesson : 2 hrs Coaching + 2 hrs Travel with no Tolls or no Parking fees = €70.00 plus you pay the lights charge in the club ) If you travel to Carlow to The Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, You can have a 2 hour lesson Including Lights. Coaching, Dvd of Lesson, Training Book, Psychology Booklet for Total of €55.00  
 
It is advisable to book a lesson at least 3-4 weeks in advance as PJ is sometimes busy with International Duty or abroad coaching other international players. Should you want to find out more about PJ then visit his personal website www.147academy.com
