Morris back in winning ways

Irish champion David Morris won his first Under-19 ranking event of the season beating No.1 ranked player John Connors 3-2 in on of the best finals the Under-19 Series has witnessed. Letterkenny’s John Connors had won the last two events against Morris but home advantage did not pay off for the youngster

as Morris got back into winning ways with a superb display in the final.
The event also sorted out who would be traveling to Russia for the European Under-19’s and it was Greg Casey who provided the shock result beating David Hogan 3-0 to qualify ahead of him by one frame in the rankings. More

McCrudden back in No.1 spot
Martin McCrudden made a superb comeback from 4-2 behind to beat Carl Murphy 5-4 in the final of the 4th Ranking Event of the season. McCrudden’s last senior win was his 2002 Irish championship win and this win has now completed his 
comeback and put him back as No.1 in the Irish Rankings More
Delaney defeats Gray in final

Nenagh’s Darren Delaney ended Andrew Gray’s run of wins in the Under-14 Series with a superb display in the final of the 3rd Event defeating Andrew 2-0 with ease. Andrew beat Spawell’s Anthony Hewitt 2-1 in the semi final while Darren 

reached his first final by beating Alan O’Donoghue 2-1
